You want the best labor force you can afford. Salaries and healthcare benefits are important considerations.

But, premiums are always going up, making it harder to offer those benefits.

Higher premiums and higher co-pays are causing people to drop coverage. More uninsured workers in our hospitals and emergency rooms mean those of us who provide insurance have to pay even more to compensate for those who can’t pay.

Should everyone be required to carry health insurance, as they are for auto insurance?  Several states have laws in the works to do just this.  Will Nevada be next?
